BetDukes Review
We know some bettors are always on the hunt for the next big bookie to place sports bets on, which is why we’ve written this BetDukes review. This brand-new casino is just waiting for you to put down a bet on the wide range of sporting action it offers.
Pros / Cons
Sweeping range of deposit options
Fast and easy registration
Customisable interface
Top range of sports betting
£2.50 withdrawal fee
Welcome bonus is uninspiring
A New Launch
BetDukes may be new to the betting scene, but its parent company certainly isn’t. ProgressPlay has designed a wide range of online casinos; BetDukes is just the latest in a long line. If you’ve played slots before, there’s every chance you’re familiar with some of ProgressPlay’s sites. Either way, you can be sure that you’re in capable hands at BetDukes.
Start Betting in Minutes
The BetDukes registration process is as easy as you’d expect for any official online casino that adheres to UK Gambling Commission regulations. Click the ‘Join Now’ button in the top-right corner of the home page, put in your email address and phone number for verification, then select a password. You’ll be sent a text message to confirm it’s you, then you’re off to the next stage.
From here you’ll insert your name, address, date of birth, and – rather strangely – your job title. Who knows why – perhaps for some peculiar market research reason. Anyway, the final step is to confirm that it’s you with the code sent via SMS, then you’re ready to bet.
The BetDukes Bonus Offer
BetDukes has opted for just about the most basic bonus offer possible; if you make a bet of at least £10, you’ll get a £10 bonus. This is probably at the lower end of the industry standard for welcome bonuses, and it’s a bit boring, but it’s still free money… sort of. The caveat is that you’ll need to bet your winnings 10 times before you can withdraw them. Play with it wisely and you’ll soon feel right at home having put your BetDukes welcome bonus to good use.
Top Sports Betting
This is a British bookie, so you won’t be surprised that it’s orientated towards football, for which you get a huge range of leagues and cups to bet on globally. That’s not the only option, of course. You’re also treated to basketball, cricket, horse racing, tennis, politics, and reality TV. On top of sports, there are also esports markets to cater to bettors who’d prefer to wager on League of Legends than the Pakistan National Challenge Cup.
If you want to diverge from sports betting, then the BetDukes casino is always open for business. You can partake in a range of slots, casino classics, jackpots, and live casino games for those who can’t get enough real-life action.
All the Betting Options You’d Expect
BetDukes betting is made possible by the top software in the industry. You certainly won’t feel far from the familiar comfort of the big betting companies, as the sports betting interface is essentially the same as Bet365’s.
On the front page of the BetDukes sports betting page you’ll be greeted with current live football matches, which will quickly give you an idea of the betting options available, both live and pre-match. Score predictions, goals under/over, and next goal scorer are just a few among many options here. Indeed, BetDukes has the lot.
Deposits
If you’re tempted by the matched welcome bonus, then you’ll need to deposit some funds to play with. We loved the wide range of BetDukes deposit options available. There are, of course, all the classic options such as Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, and bank transfers.
For those who prefer alternative payment methods, you can deposit funds using PayPal, Skrill, Neteller, paysafecard, PayviaPhone, MuchBetter, Trustly, ecoPayz, Zimpler, Interac, BitBay Pay, UPI, NetBanking, SOFORT, GIROPAY, QIWI, WebMoney, and Euteller. Indeed, if you prefer to use eWallets, then BetDukes is an excellent choice for you.
Although the minimum deposit is £10 with some common payment methods, it’s £20 for most others. This is a bit frustrating; while the welcome offer promises to match 100% of your deposit, it only does so up to £10. So, in essence, it’s actually a 50% match bonus for most payment methods. BetDukes needs to improve on this before we can give its deposit methods our full approval.
Withdrawals
BetDukes withdrawal options are also varied, but not nearly as much as the deposit options. You can withdraw via Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, PayPal, bank transfer, Skrill, Trustly, ecoPayz, Neteller, Euteller, QIWI, and WebMoney, which is a fairly decent range.
However, our biggest criticism of BetDukes actually relates to its withdrawals. You’ll be hit with a £2.50 fee every time you take money out. From our perspective, this seems unnecessarily greedy and definitely doesn’t put bettors’ needs first. Be aware of this before you sign up and try to make bigger withdrawals instead of frequent small ones.
Mobile-Friendly Website
Although there is no BetDukes mobile app, the developers behind ProgressPlay are masters at getting the company’s gaming sites to run brilliantly across multiple platforms. The user experience is essentially the same on mobile as it is on desktop. If you want to fire off a quick live bet while you’re on your lunch break, you can do so easily with BetDukes.
A Brilliant Betting Experience
The BetDukes site is very simple to work your way around. You’ll be able to view current live sports games from the homepage, and there’s also the handy toolbar at the top of the page to make life easier. From here you can navigate through the different betting sections, including live overview, calendar, and results. You can click through your favourite sports and events from the left-hand side of the page, making it incredibly easy to find the bet that you want.
Your betslip appears on the right hand of the display and can be viewed and edited while you browse events. This makes it extremely simple to edit your bets and combine them into an accumulator for bigger takings.
Bettors can actually change the interface from here, too. You can opt for the classic display, a modern version, or a combination of both – click through them to see which one you prefer. Similarly, you can change the format that your betting odds are displayed in, with options including fractional, decimal, and American style.
A Safe Bet
You can rest assured that BetDukes security is of a high standard. The site is regulated by both the UK Gambling Commission and the Malta Gaming Authority. The UKGC in particular is among the most stringent betting authorities globally, so you can be sure that BetDukes won’t cheat you. On top of this, you should breathe easy knowing that the website is protected from the technical side by all the latest encryption technology, as you’d expect from a ProgressPlay sportsbook.
Customer Support
For a new sportsbook, the BetDukes customer support offer is pretty good. You can engage with a customer service representative via live chat 24 hours a day. When we tested the live chat, the representative was fast to respond and gave us accurate answers. On top of this, email support is available if you wish to detail your situation further. There’s also a fairly informative FAQ section for you to browse through and see if your query has already been answered before you go to the trouble of contacting the customer support team.
Bottom Line
Despite being very new, BetDukes has already shown itself to be a user-friendly bookmaker that should catch the attention of keen sport bettors. As we discovered while researching our BetDukes review, the site’s selection of betting options on live and upcoming games is spread out in an easy to view and customisable manner, allowing you to make your bets with ease.
There’s an expansive range of payment options available, and it’s only really the £2.50 withdrawal fee that lets BetDukes down. Overall, given that it’s a brand new online bookie, BetDukes has done a stellar job of getting all of the other basics correct. All in all, we think this site is worth a shot.
